SMYRNA, Del. — ABRA Body and Glass (ABRA) has become the second Platinum Sponsor of the Database Enhancement Gateway’s (DEG’s) initiative to offer collision estimating system end-users an alternative for handling inquiries regarding collision repair data.
“ABRA’s financial commitment helps to ensure that the value offered by the DEG can remain as a no-charge service for any party who uses this software and finds the need to address areas in it that don’t accurately reflect the real world conditions,” says Rick Starbard, member of the DEG Joint Operations Committee.
“Our company is interested in supporting any effort that allows our facilities, and the industry at large, the opportunity to offer valuable input to ensure our collective technician’s efforts are being documented in the estimating process,” says ABRA Executive Vice President Tim Adelmann. “When the opportunity arose to support the DEG we were very excited to do our part.”
The DEG Sponsor program allows for the DEG to partner with key corporations serving the collision industry who are interested in supporting the initiative to maintain our services at no charge to the individual user. The financial support we receive from these sponsors is a great support to any individual within the industry that utilizes collision estimating data.
