CARSTAR will celebrate its 20th anniversary at the 2009 CARSTAR National Conference Sept. 19 to 22 in Denver.

Franchisees can meet with CARSTAR's senior leadership on business operations and plans for the future, work with other store owners on key issues, attend educational sessions and participate in the annual awards celebration.

The conference schedule features classes on I-CAR training, estimating, new repair technology, insurance marketing and relations, store productivity, employee training and management, store expansion, consumer marketing and public relations, financial management and more.  Some classes are presented by CARSTAR partners such as Hertz, 3M, I-CAR and Mitchell. Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. each day of the conference.

The awards ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20, and the general session, led by Dick Cross, CEO, and Dan Bailey, president, will be held at 8 a.m. Sept. 20. A special "Meet the Press" lunch will be held with Cross and Bailey at noon Sept. 22. The closing event will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 22.

Attendees also can participate in the "CARSTAR Golf Extra-Ordinare!" golf tournament Sept. 20. Also offered are walking tours, fly fishing, cooking classes and golf lessons. The conference will wrap up with a Wild West Rodeo.

The event will be held at the Sheraton Downtown Hotel. Conference registration is open, and regular event pricing starts at $795 per person. Franchisees can register at www.carstar.com through the Franchisee Login area.

"We're excited about kicking off our next decade of success with the CARSTAR Nation," says Cross. "It's an honor to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company with all of our franchisees and to have a chance to personally thank them for their many contributions over the years in building the CARSTAR brand.  We have a great year ahead of us in 2010, and we're looking forward to hearing from all of the franchisees how we can make it successful for each and every one of them."
