MENTOR, Ohio — DCR Systems will convert Gallery Automotive Group’s body shop in Norwood, Mass., to DCR’s lean-based collision repair process. This agreement preceded DCR’s exclusive arrangement with Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A.

DCR took over managing day-to-day operations of Gallery’s existing shop on Jan. 6. DCR also supplies equipment, tooling, staffing, technician training and certification.

Once the conversion is complete, Gallery Collision Center will utilize DCR System’s operating model, which is designed to drive predictable, dependable repair quality and deliver high-level customer satisfaction.

“Our decision to partner with DCR Systems centered around the customer, which is what DCR’s operating model is all about,” says David Spiegel, vice president of Gallery Automotive Group. “DCR offers a better way to get the job done and will enable us to produce a better quality product with a faster turnaround. Having DCR Systems manage our operation will enable us to enhance our overall customer offerings and, ultimately, increase customer satisfaction and retention.”

“Gallery’s brand loyalty and customer focus is a natural fit for our operating model, which is driven by customer value,” says Michael Giarrizzo Jr., DCR president and CEO.

Gallery Automotive Group, owned by Marubeni Corp., has been serving the Massachusetts market for more than 35 years and is comprised of BMW Galley Norwood, BMW Gallery Norwell, Mazda Gallery Norwood, Volkswagen Gallery Norwood and Honda Gallery North Reading.
