Deadline extended for Women's Industry Network scholarships

MANKATO, Minn. — The deadline for scholarship applications for full-time students and collision shop employees to attend the 2009 Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Conference in Dallas March 22 to 24 has been extended until March 6.

Student scholarships include conference registration, one-year membership to WIN, two night’s hotel expense (based on sharing with another recipient) and $250 for travel expenses. 

Collision shop employee scholarships will include conference registration, one-year membership to WIN and $125 for travel expenses. 

“Education is a cornerstone of WIN,” says Kim White of FinishMaster who is chair of the WIN Scholarship Committee “These scholarships enable us to help more women benefit from the professional development, skill-building and networking opportunities the conference provides.”
