Matrix System Automotive Finishes has announce the appointment of David Brunori to the position of Vice President and General Manager.

For nearly twenty-eight years Brunori has worked in the vehicle refinish industry, where he began his career from the ground up. He started in the paint manufacturing industry as a chemist, developing formulas and products.

For more than 15 years with Matrix System, Brunori has held a variety of positions from internal operations to more recently Business Unit Manager. Dave earned an undergraduate degree in Chemistry in 1992, and most recently completed a graduate program in 12/06.

According to Brunori, “Having worked in many different departments has given me a better perspective on what is required and expected of each individual. Communication and teamwork seem to be the key to the business’ success. We need to have everyone on the same page in order for Matrix System to keep growing, this is the key to executing a strategy.”

In his new role as Vice President and General Manager, Brunori will be responsible for the P/L performance of the entire organization. He states that “my experience in product development and operational activities, and most recently sales and marketing, offer a unique perspective on managing our business. The vehicle refinish market is where I operate the best, I love the challenges that this unique market has to offer.”

“We believe there is no one more qualified nor possessing a more intimate knowledge of the operations of the business than Dave,” stated Fred Quinn, CEO Quest Specialty Chemicals.
