HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation contributed $2,500 to the I-CAR Education Foundation and its new mission to support philanthropic and collision repair education activities that promote and enhance career opportunities in the industry.
“On behalf of the I-CAR Education Foundation Board of Trustees and the Education Foundation staff, we are most appreciative of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation’s support,” says Chris Evans, chairman of the I-CAR Education Foundation Board of Trustees. “As a donor to the Education Foundation, Enterprise is voicing its support of our new philanthropic activities which include curriculum grants, instructor training grants, and student scholarships. Their contribution provides the Education Foundation with the administrative tools to make a difference in the education system for over 1,300 schools and in the lives of over 65,000 students.”
“Enterprise is a local company with a presence in the thousands of neighborhoods we serve, placing us on a first-name basis with the people who call those neighborhoods home,” says John Ward, assistant vice president of vehicle repair for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “We realize we owe our success to the support and good will of the people who live in those communities and who do business with us. That's why we are committed to involving ourselves in the support of worthwhile endeavors, such as the I-CAR Education Foundation, in the hometowns and cities where we operate our businesses.”
