Insurance Auto Auctions opens Montana office

WESTCHESTER, Ill. — Insurance Auto Auctions Inc. (IAA), a North American salvage auto auction company, opened a new location in Billings, Mont., which will strengthen the company’s presence in the Northwest. This location will enhance delivery of IAA’s services to vehicle provider and buyer clients in these areas.

The Billings facility features additional inventory space and will significantly decrease towing charges for vehicle providers and buyers in the Northwest, the company said. Buyers will now have access to additional auctions and inventory each week through IAA’s live physical auctions with live Internet bidding.

IAA’s focus on the salvage auto auction industry and 151 corporate-owned facilities across the United States and Canada provides suppliers and buyers with a solution to process and acquire total-loss, recovered-theft, fleet lease and rental vehicles. The company’s hybrid auction model includes live, Internet and proxy bidding,
