The Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp (SWAFC) A-Plus Network will present its Discovery Meeting: The State of the Collision Repair Industry, in Albuquerque, N.M., Wednesday, September 16, 6:30 pm, at the Albuquerque Aquarium.

The Discovery Meeting provides what SWAFC calls an extensive look at the challenges and opportunities collision repair professionals face with OEM, insurer and regulatory changes in both the global environment and throughout the Southwest. The presentation details how these issues can – and are – affecting their overall performance.

Special emphasis in the program also describes how today’s professional repairers can benefit from better educating and understanding the consumers’ role in the repair process.

The program includes a review of the latest, lower VOC regulations and an opportunity for attendees to learn about SWAFC’s waterborne solution, AWX. Attendees must preregister prior to the event, which is free and open to any independent collision center owners or managers as well as dealership general managers, fixed ops and body shop managers.

With the program’s environmental and waterborne product focus, it is being held at the Albuquerque Aquarium’s Shark Tank, located inside the ABQ Biopark, in downtown Albuquerque located at 2601 Central Ave. NW.

To register for the Discovery Meeting, contact A-Plus Program Manager Brandon Devis at (216)332-8580 or e-mail at Brandon.e.devis@sherwin.com.
