Sherwin-Williams giving away gas grills at NACE

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp.’s (SWAFC) will give away three gas grills at the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) to promote the company’s HP Process with Air-Dry Technology.

The Air-Dry technology removes the need for baking and achieves a fast cure time at ambient (70-75°F) room temperatures, allowing for same-day repairs, the company said. Its HPC15 Clearcoat can achieve a 15-minute cure that can then be sanded polished. The HP Process stands for higher productivity, higher performance and higher profits.

All visitors to the SWAFC booth (#N3791) will receive the opportunity to take home one of three Weber Summit grills (each about a $1,500 value).

“We decided to have some fun with our traffic-building activities at NACE this year and emphasize using natural gas for your backyard grill instead of your spray booth, thanks to the HP Process,” says Brian Shenk, SWAFC director of marketing services. “This is a great way to emphasize our new, lean production system that benefits the environment by reducing a shop’s carbon footprint and also impacts the bottom line by lowering energy costs and helping paint more cars, faster.”

Booth visitors also will be able to see an almost exact replica of one of SWAFC’s 200 automotive sales and service branches. For more information about SWAFC, its products and services, go to www.sherwin-automotive.com.
